Ditto Molly

February 11, 2009

So I’m describing a relationship to someone and use 2 movies. Ghost  and Nights in Rodanthe.

If you haven’t seen any of these,  read someone elses blog so I don’t blow the endings for you.

meanwhile here’s a musical interlude…. > click here <

Meet ''Unfaithful'''s Diane Lane | 153853__lane_lOk.  The problem is  the male dies in both movies.  Patrick Swayze dies early but is alive as a ghost and shows how strong his love is throughout the movie. Richard Gere shows his love through communication after a romantic visit. He dies while he’s away on a trip, just after promising Diane Lane (YUM) he’d see her soon at a particular time, and date. She’s is in a nice dress, all pertied up, waiting with a dinner, candles.  Waiting for her man to come…..  hours later the bad news is delivered.

Disappointment  and Hurt

Both movies show sadness in the woman’s roles. That sadness is so real.  Both actresses do a great job. Especially Diane Lane ( SHE could make me some toast!)

Hmmmm.     Maybe the choices and the dying are valid.    I’d never want to disappoint or hurt someone like that.       I’d sooner die.

Gram is doing ok.  Still more tests.   Wish she could study for them, we’d cram!

Hey Thanks for reading!     I’ll see you soon!

  1. Diane Lane is so hottttt !!! I’ve loved her since the Outsiders.

  2. I loved Ghost. Haven’t yet seen Nights in Rodanthe, but I definitely will. I’m a sucker for a good chick flick.

Keeping your gram in my prayers…

  3. Loved Ghost, but haven’t seen the other. I’ll put it on my list 🙂

  4. Whew I knew I didn’t want to see that movie! I prefer Under the Tuscan sun! How great would it be to get off a bus in Italy and buy a Villa!? Thanks for stoppin by my place. Welcome. I hope this is “Oscar” lol, Kissy Face huh? Or did you mean “Kitty face” For my kitty….
